Xander hadn't forgotten what day it was just because there was a date yesterday too. In fact shopping for today might have something to do with why he was a little late for yesterday.

...And being a Harris might have something to do with why his apartment now smells like a combination of chocolate cake and burny, burny death.

Hooray for good ventilation systems? By which we mean a fan and a lot of open windows.

"S'a good word," Xander agrees, shifting towards the Hand of Unbuttoning.

Of course, said shifting probably isn't very wise when seriously, game of Twister. On the couch.

Unfortunately, Bridge isn't paying much attention to what's wise and what's isn't either. Which is why the shifting of position sends him tumbling from his precariously balanced position on the couch and on to the floor.

Twister, for those of you unfamiliar with the concept, is a Milton Bradley game. With lots of tangled limbs and colored spots. Which is exactly what Xander is experiencing when he joins Bridge on the floor.

Well, no, Bridge is on the floor and he's on Bridge. Mostly.

"Hi. Nice of you to drop in?" Bridge says, unable to stop the laughter from bubbling up.

"Don't you mean on?" Xander winces and tries to shift so he's not actually squishing Bridge. "You okay?"

"I've got a Xander on top of me," Bridge grins up at him. "How can that not be okay?"

"You could have a Xander under you. That could be okayer."

Bridge reaches out to give the coffee table a shove. Once that's out of the way, with a bit more twisting and wriggling he finds himself grinning down at Xander instead of up. "You have the best ideas."

"I'd take credit for putting down carpet, too, but the room came that way."

"Either way, I'm glad, or I'd be a lot more 'ow, floo- hey!" Bridge blinks. "I guess you were right about going for the floor later. So you can take credit for that one too."

"Yes. Absolutely. Totally planned this. Yup."

"Hmm," Bridge says. "Such ingenious planning," he leans down to press a trail of kisses leading from Xander's jaw and down his neck until he's interrupted by the presence of a shirt. "Deserves a reward," he finishes.

"Pie?" Xander suggests.

Bridge goes absolutely still. "...If that's what you want."

Xander snerks and nudges Bridge with his knee. "Maybe later?"

"Oh," Bridge grins sheepishly. "You're never going to get tired of doing that to me, are you?"

"There's lots of things I'm never gonna get tired of doing to you."

"Good answer," Bridge replies.

"Like this, for instance." Xander demonstrates by way of his hips.

"...Very, very good answer," Bridge amends.

"Do I get a prize that's not pie?"

"That can be arranged," Bridge replies. "Anything specific you had in mind?"

"Nope, but I'm open to suggestions."

"Hmm," Bridge says thoughtfully, slowly pulling off his gloves. And then he works on removing a certain shirt-shaped obstacle. With that taken care of, he resumes the trail-of-kisses until he reaches the unbuttoned fly that had been the catalyst for this whole ending-up-on-the-floor thing.

"Really, really...open," Xander babbles.
