Xander hadn't forgotten what day it was just because there was a date yesterday too. In fact shopping for today might have something to do with why he was a little late for yesterday.

...And being a Harris might have something to do with why his apartment now smells like a combination of chocolate cake and burny, burny death.

Hooray for good ventilation systems? By which we mean a fan and a lot of open windows.

This is a good thing (except, of course, for the reader) because the Kool-Aid Man is very high on the list of "DO NOT WANT" right at this moment. Possibly even above ridiculous sports metaphors.

Bridge, on the other hand, or mouth as the case might be, is at the top of the "WANT" list. Except for there's no list and Xander's currently getting exactly what he wants, but aside from that, yes.

There's also "Goal!", except for how that's a different sport. Slowly, Bridge makes his way back up until he's face to face with Xander again. "Happy Valentine's Day," he murmurs.

"Bibble?" Xander offers. He manages to scrape up the energy to grin when he says it.

"Good bibble?" the grin sort of gives answer away, but he asks anyway.

"Unbeatable bibble." Xander pulls him close. "Happy Valentine's Day."

"Unbeatable, huh? You're inflating my ego, here," Bridge replies with a laugh.

"Funny, it wasn't your ego I was going for there." If his meaning was unclear, what he does with his hand isn't.

"I'm just-" completely forgetting what he was going to say, because, hi there hand.

The hand says hi back. Sort of. "You were saying?"

"I. Um. That's good. *Better* than good, really," Bridge babbles.

"I believe the grammaricially correct word is gooderer."

"Goodest," Bridge corrects. "Definitely goodest."

"So it can't get any gooderer?" Xander asks, sliding his thumb a little to the left.

"No fair giving me pop quizzes at a time like this," Bridge pouts.

"Even if I give you the answers?" Xander asks, doing his level best to make sure it gets gooderer.

"You can give me whatever you want as long as you keep doing *that*," Bridge replies honestly.

"This right here?" Probably not, no, since this right here involves speeding up.

"That's good too," Bridge admits. "How 'bout we just change it to whatever you wanna do, that's fine with me, 'cause it's all really really really... yeah."

Xander's not counting the reallys. He's pretty damn satisfied with the noises Bridge makes, and the movement in his hand, and...everything. Really really really.

Satisfaction seems to be a theme here, because Bridge is feeling really pretty (but not "really pretty") very extremely damn satisfied himself at the moment.

Xander would argue about that really pretty part, because Bridge is looking kind of that way, from where Xander's lying. Though he might not actually voice that argument.

Which is good, because Bridge would probably blush and deny it a lot. And while there's definitely colour in his cheeks right now it's got nothing to do with embarrassment and everything to do with what Xander's currently doing with his hand.
