To say it'd been a weird couple of weeks for a lot of his friends would be an understatement. Xander knew a movie night wasn't going to magically fix that, but it least it would give them a chance to relax a little.

So he had the basic necessities: popcorn, stuff in the kitchen for more substantial snacks, over-caffeinated soda and, of course, movies. The box of his things that had arrived from storage this week contained most of his dvds, not that he'd amassed all that many since Sunnydale went boom, but certainly enough for tonight.

And Harper had been nice enough to leave the place furnished with a less than basic necessity - the huge tv in the den. Xander wasn't about to claim this job didn't have perks.

So now he (and Jeremiah, who was supervising the proceedings from a table near the couch) was just waiting for people to show up.

Dawn lasted long enough to snicker at Xander's snoring, but was yawning ten minutes later, and was asleep on Sam about ten minutes after that.

Nadia had been determined to stay awake. The fact that she failed shouldn't surprise anyone, though, what with the whole apparent narcolepsy thing.

At least she wasn't the first to fall asleep.

Despite the good night's sleep last night, Isabel found herself dozing off. She shifted a bit to get comfortable and closed her eyes.

Sam tried to keep watching the movie, but with Dawn curled up against him, it didn't take long for him to fall asleep as well.

He'd had a long week - that's the excuse he'd give later, anyway. In any case, Alec fell asleep finally as well, curled up in front of the couch on his own.

Bridge had shifted a little to try and make her more comfortable once Buffy's head had dropped against his shoulder, and suddenly he was in a conveniently comfortable for falling asleep in position, and so he does so.

Willow had intended to close her eyes for just a second, really...

And River soon followed the rest. It was a very comfy couch after all, and she didn't even notice her head leaning against Bridge.
