And in the teeny, tiny corner of his brain still capable of rational thought, right now Bridge is really glad that the soundproofing in SPD Cadet quarters is way, way better than that at the dorms back in Fandom.

Xander would be jealous of the teeny tiny corner of rational thought, if he and any of his own left to be jealous with. As it is, he just expends what little energy he has left to flop back onto the mattress and try to remember how to process oxygen into carbon dioxide.
