MCA #0, Thursday Night (Movie Night)

To say it'd been a weird couple of weeks for a lot of his friends would be an understatement. Xander knew a movie night wasn't going to magically fix that, but it least it would give them a chance to relax a little.

So he had the basic necessities: popcorn, stuff in the kitchen for more substantial snacks, over-caffeinated soda and, of course, movies. The box of his things that had arrived from storage this week contained most of his dvds, not that he'd amassed all that many since Sunnydale went boom, but certainly enough for tonight.

And Harper had been nice enough to leave the place furnished with a less than basic necessity - the huge tv in the den. Xander wasn't about to claim this job didn't have perks.

So now he (and Jeremiah, who was supervising the proceedings from a table near the couch) was just waiting for people to show up.

Willow handed over a bowl of that very thing. "There's few things it can't cure, I find."

"I doubt it'll cure me but it'll definitely ease the pain some. So did you and Peter have a nice Valentine's Day?" she asked. "He sent me a rose with such a nice note, it was really sweet of him."

"I have no complaints," Willow said. "He was very nice with the flowers and the presents and the Valentining. A plus plus."

"Good for him. Poor Greg came down with a bad cold, so I spent the evening hanging out, watching movies and then actually getting a decent night's sleep for a change." Isabel took a bite of chocolate and sighed. "Hopefully he'll be better by Friday. I've got a great little dress to wear."

"I brought it to him at lunch yesterday," she nodded. "But does Chicken and rice soup from Ching Tai count? Or does it have to be chicken noodle?"

"My preference is Jewish deli, but we are in Virginia so Chinese can do in a pinch," Willow assured her.

"Well hopefully it'll work. Otherwise? There might have to be a road trip. Remember," Isabel said. "I'm from Roswell. We had a serious lack of non-Mexican ethnic food. I'd love to get New York."
