Nobody much cares where you sit, since it's not like there's a bride's side, or like Xander and Bridge don't share all the same friends, but the green fabric deck chairs are separated by a white runner anyway.

Lit on either side by softly-muted glow-balls, it leads down to a chupah that's -- contain your shock -- just as green.

In fact, it looks pretty much like this:

Tony did, in fact lack a date.

He did, however, have a personal assistant with him. When he tags in. Poor, poor Sam. "It's very green."

"There could be no hors d'oeuvres," Tony replied.

"I was thinking more along the lines of it could be hot pink," Sam admitted. "But no hors d'oeurves would be pretty bad, too."

"Bad booze." He'd been to far too many parties. "Only older society women."

"I believe you," Sam said. "But maybe no booze until after the ceremony? Just a thought."

Tony eyed him. "You've been talking to Pepper."

"Well," Sam said defensively. "Yeah. She sends me lists and stuff." He kind of worried she was at risk for an ulcer or something.

"She does that," Tony said, almost soothingly. If you thought him capable of it.

Sam...didn't really. But then, he still thought his boss was just trying to steal his car. "Yes, sir."

"You'll have fun," Tony insisted, looking at the crowd. "There are... well some of them look your age, right?"

"I have a girlfriend," Sam reminded him.

"I do!" He did! He was just...never letting Tony meet her, was all.

"I believe you," Tony said in his most patronizing tone. "Now how about getting us some champagne?"

Sam was sixteen. But he was pretty sure Mr. Stark wasn't going to let that be an excuse, so he said, "Yes, um, not-sir," and headed off to find champagne.

He returned a few minutes later, one glass of champagne in hand for his boss. It was a loose interpretation of 'us,' what?

Taking the champagne, Tony only shot him a passing glance as to why he wasn't having one.

The little voice in his head that sounded suspiciously like Pepper supplied that he was only sixteen.

"Do you think I should have asked for green tones in the suits?"

"I think that would've been a little bit too much green," Sam told him. "It's a wedding, not a trip to the meta for Emerald City."
