Nobody much cares where you sit, since it's not like there's a bride's side, or like Xander and Bridge don't share all the same friends, but the green fabric deck chairs are separated by a white runner anyway.

Lit on either side by softly-muted glow-balls, it leads down to a chupah that's -- contain your shock -- just as green.

In fact, it looks pretty much like this:

Parker was looking around for people she knew, and swinging her extra pair of high-heeled sandals from two fingers.

At least there was a few unattached women here. Tony grinned at the-- much taller woman. He liked those sort of heels.

Parker raised an eyebrow, and gave him an amused once-over. "I would have remembered. I thought I knew everyone who'd be attending." It was fun to look down on a cute guy for once, instead of straight-on or up. "Parker. And you are?"

"Tony Stark," He replied, offering a hand. "Boss of the groom. The one without the eye-patch."

Parker smirked a little, taking his hand and shaking it, letting her fingers linger in his. "I figured. Since the other one is his own boss. Although I guess you'll be losing Bridge soon." She cocked her head and studied. "And what exactly does he do for you?"

Yeah, no innuendo there. Nope.

Tony raised an eyebrow, but smiled anyway. "Mostly seems to make kitchen appliances produce candy."

Parker grinned at that, and pulled out a small phone from her purse. "Reese's mini-peanut-buttercups."

And then there was a sudden attack from a small girl in a blue dress attenmpting to hug Parker.

Parker startled, almost striking out, then started to laugh. "River! God, you scared the life out of me!"

"Great to see you!" Parker stepped back to look at her, and smiled. "You look good. What have you been up to?"

And underneath that, River might hear background noise of ~I just got luuuucky!~

"Got stuck to a wall with Lee Adama," River informed her. At least most people seemed to find that amusing. "And when are you going to tell me?"

Parker chortled and asked, "Do I want to know why?" Then grinned wickedly. "And if you see a guy with a goatee and a very sharp suit, you'll get full details if you check." It was fun and not at all serious and yay, there are advantages to not having a date!

Sokka waved at Parker, and then fumbled for something to say. "The, uh, shooting range hasn't been the same since you left," he told her.

Parker grinned, looking pleased. "Awww. I bet it misses me. Sokka, right?" She cocked her head. "Still practicing, though? Well. I'll bet you've had to, with whatever invasions and take-overs you've had."

Sokka nodded. "Well, Triela's been taking good care of it lately, but it's not open as often as it used to be. And no one will sell me a gun."

Remembering Sokka's extreme enthusiasm for weapons, Parker wasn't too surprised. And yet.... "That sucks! Wait, are you eighteen yet?"

"You can get one in the U.S. when you're eighteen. Well, a shotgun or rifle," Parker specified, wondering if she was encouraging wholesale destruction. "Then again, I don't know if that applies to Fandom." She shrugged. "But it might help?"

Parker cracked up, then made a face. "Too weird. Seriously. I mean, it's your stomach. Even if it has a person in there." She grinned. "Feeling possessed yet?"

"Completely," Angela assented. "It's always moving around in there." She patted her belly. "And I have two and a half months to go."

"That's good, right?" Parker had about as much knowledge of baby development as she did of macrame. But at least a lot more respect for it. "Do you have stuff ready for it-- her, him. It? Yet?"

"That's what my doctor says," Angela informed her. "Me, I'd rather skip it."

She shrugged. "We have some things. But we're going to move soon, so we haven't done too much shopping."
