Nobody much cares where you sit, since it's not like there's a bride's side, or like Xander and Bridge don't share all the same friends, but the green fabric deck chairs are separated by a white runner anyway.

Lit on either side by softly-muted glow-balls, it leads down to a chupah that's -- contain your shock -- just as green.

In fact, it looks pretty much like this:

Parker startled, almost striking out, then started to laugh. "River! God, you scared the life out of me!"

"Great to see you!" Parker stepped back to look at her, and smiled. "You look good. What have you been up to?"

And underneath that, River might hear background noise of ~I just got luuuucky!~

"Got stuck to a wall with Lee Adama," River informed her. At least most people seemed to find that amusing. "And when are you going to tell me?"

Parker chortled and asked, "Do I want to know why?" Then grinned wickedly. "And if you see a guy with a goatee and a very sharp suit, you'll get full details if you check." It was fun and not at all serious and yay, there are advantages to not having a date!

"I beat him up. Shouldn't do that." She grinned at Parker. "Should ask you for advice. Need to learn the talent of picking up people for fun and not serious." It might be too late soon, after all.

Parker might have cackled at mention of the beating-up, settling down to a snicker. "Yay for that. As long as it's not major damage." Her cat-that-ate-the-canary grin widened. "Telling the ones who are never serious from the ones who ever can be? The ones who respond to the mention of leather appropriately, I think."

"He deserved it. Might not get another opportunity." She gave Parker a serious look. "Leaving on the 28th." Then a wide grin appeared. "Need to have fun before I go."

Parker snickered, having done one or two things to those she wouldn't named for the sake of 'won't get another chance to mess with them'. She sobered at River's announcement of her leavetaking, then smiled again. "Most. Definitely."

"Will you help?" River raised an eyebrow. "There should be dancing."

"Oh hell yeah. Most definitely dancing." Parker paused, getting another idea, and grinned even wider. "I have to check something with Zero. But I have an idea that might help." She pinged River's earring. "First, we dance at the reception, though. Then see what other trouble we can find."

Of course, it was hard to hide ideas from River although the mun isn't as psychic, and she grinned back. "Dancing is a good start."
