The weeks leading up to and following graduation had been... busy was not the word. Or well, it was one of the words, along with eventful, Fandomtastic, scary, heart-stopping, sad, worrying, nostalgia-inducing, work-filled, relieving, newsy, romantic, and occasionally MA-rated. Some of which weren't words, but whatever. It all added up to Xander not having had a chance to just flop down and vegetate in front of the tv for quite a while.

So.

Space Battles. He was almost up to the metal bikini.

A BFF came a-knocking at the door.

Willow replied to the greeting with a series of high-pitched squeaks, hand-flailing, and bouncing.

What? That was coherent. For her. Ish.

"The squirrels have crowned you their queen?" he guessed. He was pretty fluent in Willow, but some sounds have a lot of possible meanings, and really, it was a perfectly reasonable try.

Willow shook her head, then tapped her nose to indicate that he was on the right track. She tried again, this time with different squeaks and flails.

"Was it the squirrel part or the queen part?"

Willow pointed to her head to indicate hats of some kind could be involved.

Spinning needed to be followed by hugging, Willow figured. "Yes! Or bridesman? I don't know how that works. But it's a position and it's yours and we can come up with names later and EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!"

"Huge!" Willow said. "Huger than huge! Because he loves me and wants to be with me and I know we talked about that before but hi with fate doing the wacky and now it's real and it's going to be me and him and us and people! I'm going to have people! How am I going to remember all of their names?"

"Spreadsheets," Xander suggested as he tugged her towards the kitchen. Because obviously this called for ice cream. In the good way. "Lots of spreadsheets."
