If Bridge and Xander slept in really, really late and are still kind of lazing around in bed, well, it's been a long, busy week. And if they're still really, really sleepy, well, yesterday was prom night, and Xander had visiting royalty in his bed. You do the math.

"Sorry, sometimes I'm slow like that." Xander shoots Bridge a confused look back, over her head. Should he say that'd it's been a little over a year for them?

Bridge shrugs. She hadn't been too bothered by the time-travel concept when they'd met her for the first time last year, so somehow he gets the impression that she wouldn't be too worried if they said anything about how long it'd been.

"We got, uh, losted for a while, I guess," Xander adds, with self-described slowness. "It's been a whole year since you went away, for us."

"Huh," Bronwyn thinks about this for all of two seconds. And then thinks about the fact that *both* Daddies were here when *she* got here. "Does that mean you'n'Daddy lives together now?" she asks curiously.

Xander shoots another look at Bridge, but this one is more OMG WHAT THE HELL DO I SAY? "Um..."

"Not just yet, sweetie," Bridge jumps in. "I still haven't finished school yet, after all, so I've gotta stay there." Which, okay, *technically* he was finished with school. But as far as he knew, graduates who were staying for the summer still had to stay in the dorms.

Bronwyn glances at Daddy's ducky pajamas and tilts her head. "Were you havin' another sleepover party?"

And now it's Bridge's turn to go "Um..."

"Yes, that's- sleepover. Totally," wide-eyed nod nod nod nod.

Bronwyn looks out the glass patio doors. "It's not morning time. You musta stayed up real late!"

"We, um. Yes. Were watching movies," Bridge squeaks. "And totally stayed up later than we should have. Which was... very irresponsible of us."

"Oh. I just figured you were having sex." Bronwyn wriggles down from Xander's arms, which is a lot easier when one's daddy is staring slack-jawed at one, and zooms over to the dining room table. "Is there luncheses?"

"You wha huh?" Bridge stares at the zooming child. Weren't kids supposed to be all innocent and clueless about that sort of thing? "There can be lunch," he manages finally.

"And cupcakes?"

"Aaaactually," Bridge says, giving her an apologetic look. "It's Passover right now, so no cupcakes are around."

"Oh." Bronwyn looks down, and nods a little sadly, because no matter how much they might cheat the rest of the year, she is used to the Passover thing.

"Aaaactually," Xander says, picking a box up off one of the counters and carrying it over to the table, "these were supposed to be a surprise..."

There's a basket inside, containing some of these and some of these and some of these and probably most importantly to certain people, some of these.

"Well," Bridge grins as he looks over the contents of the basket. "I'm surprised. Were you surprised?" he looks at Bronwyn for an answer.

"Cupcakes is the best kind of s'prise!" Bronwyn nods and bounces.

"See? Mission accomplished," Bridge tells Xander, then because it seems like the kind of thing to do at the time, leans over and kisses him quickly.

"I can think of a better kind of surprise," Xander says once his lips are unoccupied, smiling over at their daughter.
