Motel de Cheap-for-DC, Washington D.C., Saturday Night

Isabel had gone home after their meeting with Parker and Jarod, but Xander and Bridge had decided they'd be less wiped-out tomorrow if they stayed here instead of going back to the island. It'd have been nice if there were any rooms left at the Hyatt besides the rockstars-have-parties-in-the-jacuzzi kind, but any bed without living things besides him and Bridge in it would do, really, for one night.

At least this was a slow week, not another one filled with recovering from being taken over by somebody else for the weekend or visiting people in the clinic. Hate The Moon Day Parties and birthdays were a lot less exhausting. So was spending time with Bridge, meeting new tenants, and goofing off with old friends.

Tomorrow, though.... not so much with the goofing off. Xander flops back on the motel room bed and stretches, then sits back up, fiddling with the remote, kind of tired and wired at the same time.

"...Is it supposed to do that?" Bridge squeaks.

Xander grins as the bed continues to do a low-grade shimmy. "Magic Fingers!"

"Hey! That's *my* shtick!" Bridge mock-pouts at the mattress.

"These don't read your aura," Xander assures him. "They just massage your...whatver's on the bed."

"Good," Bridge says firmly. "Because an aura-reading bed would just be... weird. Weirder than a vibrating one, anyway."

"No vibrating upgrades in this month's issue of Pimp My Bed?" Xander teases him, thinking of his 'tricking out' plans.

"I'd never, I mean, it didn't cross my mind, no," Bridge says, reaching out with one hand in an attempt to tug Xander down from his sitting position. "Does feel kinda nice," he admits.

"It's a step up from the ones where you have to put a quarter in to make it run for the next five minutes," Xander says, flopping back down.

"Wonder how long this one goes for," Bridge muses. "Are there different settings?"

"Like whip, grind, and puree?" Xander asks, thumbing a button on the remote. The vibration speeds up.

"Whoa, that's... hi. Interesting." Bridge says, scooting closer.

"Interesting?" Xander grins innocently.

"Just as long as it doesn't shake so much that I fall off," Bridge says. "That'd be less 'oooh, tingly' and more 'ow, floor'."

Xander snickers and scoots closer, resting a hand on Bridge's hip. "Let's explore the tingly option; we can always go for the floor later."

"You know? I'm good with that." Bridge grins, leaning in for a kiss. "Which comes as such a shock to you, I'm sure."

"Yeah, I'm..." Xander slips fingers under the hem of Bridge's shirt, sliding them across his back. "Flabbergasted."

"Hmm," Bridge says, arching his back at the touch. "Not if you can still *spell* flabbergasted you're not. But I think maybe I can work on fixing that," *his* hands, meanwhile, are busy dealing with Xander's jeans.

"Who says I can spell it?" Xander murmurs, lowering his mouth to nip at Bridge's lower lip.

"S'a good point," Bridge replies. Or tries to, anyway, given that Xander's mouth is in the way there. Not that Bridge minds. At all.

"I..." Because Xander can get that much out even when his lips are busy. And then his hands. "T."

He thinks he's funny.

Evidently Bridge agrees, as he lets out a snort of laughter. "Smartass."

"Who, mine?" Xander feels he needs to check Bridge's, just to make sure.

"Yours," Bridge replies, very seriously.

"Good thing yours is in such capable hands, then. So mine won't corrupt it or anything."

"*Not* that I'm actually arguing since I am a fan of your hands and various things you do with your hands especially in combination with me but being a smartass s'totally better than being a dumbass, any day, you know," Bridge isn't entirely sure how he manages to get all of that out, but it's all in one breath, because if he pauses to breathe or think or... anything, he'll lose his train of thought because, well. Hands. And what they're busy checking.

Speaking of hands, Bridge has been distracted enough by Xander's that he hasn't yet had managed to take the gloves off his, and it's beginning to filter in to his brain that this could maybe be an idea.
