Motel de Cheap-for-DC, Washington D.C., Saturday Night

Isabel had gone home after their meeting with Parker and Jarod, but Xander and Bridge had decided they'd be less wiped-out tomorrow if they stayed here instead of going back to the island. It'd have been nice if there were any rooms left at the Hyatt besides the rockstars-have-parties-in-the-jacuzzi kind, but any bed without living things besides him and Bridge in it would do, really, for one night.

At least this was a slow week, not another one filled with recovering from being taken over by somebody else for the weekend or visiting people in the clinic. Hate The Moon Day Parties and birthdays were a lot less exhausting. So was spending time with Bridge, meeting new tenants, and goofing off with old friends.

Tomorrow, though.... not so much with the goofing off. Xander flops back on the motel room bed and stretches, then sits back up, fiddling with the remote, kind of tired and wired at the same time.

"Yeah?" Bridge snickers. "Well, can you and your multitalented ass do me a favour, then?"

"Think really, really loud?" Bridge asks, disentangling himself from Xander a little in order to be able to take the gloves off.

"O...kay?"

Xander's thought is... not too surprising, and probably doesn't need detailing. Not too surprisingly, his ass is thinking pretty much the same thing.

"We are not the first people to use this hotel room," Bridge explains as the gloves come off. "And it's highly unlikely we'd be the first people to have *sex* in this hotel room."

"I'm still on 'O-kay?' " Xander informs him. Plus of course now he's thinking about other people having sex in this hotel room.

"Stop that!" Bridge groans. "Go back to that first thought. That was a good thought. If there's anyone's leftover psychic energy in here I *so* don't wanna be picking up on it."

Xander does a little shimmy - kind of against the rhythm of the shimmying bed -- that ends up with his jeans and boxers somewhere near his ankles.

"This thought?" He tries to re-create that first thought, but he's pretty sure it comes out sliiiightly more direct - and detailed - than last time.

Bridge doesn't actually mind the attention to detail. Like, at all. "S'the one, yeah," he murmurs, wriggling out of his own clothes.

"Think I can hold onto that thought, yeah." Among other things.

"Okay, that's, that's good. Also could you maybe be wearing less shirt now? Please?"

Well, it would require Xander to temporarily not be holding onto Other Things, but he can make that sacrifice for the few seconds required to yank off his t-shirt, yeah.

"Much better," Bridge murmurs, now that Xander's hands are back on him. He takes the opportunity presented by the shirtlessness to send his own hands wandering across Xander's chest and, eventually, downwards.

"Magic Fingers," Xander says, grinning after a sharp intake of breath.

"And you don't need to put quarters in *me*, either," Bridge replies, returning the grin.

"Well. not quarters, no."

"Good. I'm glad you're following along with that," Bridge's grin turns somewhat smirk-like as he moves in for another kiss.

Xander would say something about how yeah, he's always kind of amazed that he can keep up with the oh so subtle innuendo in their relationship, but his mouth is kind of busy. Who knows if his brain manages to convey the concept; that's kind of short-circuiting at the moment too.

Well, the short circuiting is a kind of a message in and of itself, really. At least, that's how Bridge chooses to interpret it.

If so, then Xander's sending that message loud and clear. Though his hands and legs and hips seem to be working just fine on their own.

Which is good, really good, and Bridge hopes that even with the lack of words, he's managing to get *that* message across.

10-4, yep. Or, well, there's another callsign Xander could go with but he's trying to avoid the memories of other people thing so that one's gone as soon as he can blink it away. But KY, that one's safe enough. And relatively in reach if he rolls away for a second to stretch over to the gym bag on the chair by the bed.

And Bridge can't help but let out an unhappy whimper at the sudden loss of contact, even though he knows perfectly well *why* Xander moved.

Not that Xander needed incentive to hurry up and return with various Things, but that might have factored into his speed a bit.
