So... while the mistletoe hanging over Jeremiah's tank was probably not too much Christmas spirit, Xander would admit if pressed that the Sta-Puft Marshmallow snow landscape arranged around it, complete with wee marshmallow snowpeople in santa hats, might be a little... Let's just say he's fairly certain Isabel would approve.

But hey, it's cold out there and warm in here, there's eggnog on the coffeetable, and Bitterwoman: A Very Bitter Holiday is playing on at least three channels tonight; he checked. Who is Xander to fight the inevitable?

And Xander could go on...talking... for, well. Have you met Xander? But fun as that might be, he has other things in mind.

Being able to *read* said mind means that Bridge is aware of said other things. Still. He can't help but make an unhappy noise of protest at the stopping.

And this would be the part on the porn dvd where you usually pause to point and laugh, because really, who keeps that stuff in the drawer of the coffee table? In the den?

But it's just remotely possible that Xander had this in mind before he ever started making marshmallow snowpeople.

Good, because if he wasn't, there'd be kind of a problem with, for instance, getting the condom on him.

What? Xander said he was flexible, and God knows he's proving that right about now, but there's more than one definition of, um. Topping. Which leads him back to the cupcake metaphor and makes him suspect he's never going to be able to look one in the eye ever again so it's probably good that cupcakes don't have eyes and then he's holding his breath and sliding down onto Bridge and really, really, really not thinking about pastry anymore.

Bridge is... really, really really aware of the not-thinking-about-pastry. Difficult not to be, with Xander Right. There. and surrounding him in more ways than just the physical.

Oh, yeah - breathing is your friend, Xander's oxygen-starved brain reminds him. He's still for a moment, just working out the mechanics of how to do that again, before he leans down for another kiss.

Xander's pretty sure he could do this for hours too, but now that he's figured out the breathing thing, actually moving seems like it could be-- oh. Yeah. Best. Idea. Ever.

Ooh, okay. Bridge can work with that, definitely. So now he's doing some moving of his own, matching Xander's rhythm.

"That's...yeah, good." It's not fast, because seriously, this position on a couch isn't zoned for fast. It's barely zoned for not getting leg cramps. But it's good, which is better than fast.

It takes Bridge a moment to remember how to do things like form words. "That's the general idea, yeah," he finally manages.

Xander frowns, because he's pretty sure there was a 3-syllable word in there. In no way should Bridge be capable of 3-syllable words. He does his best to correct that condition.

Was that smug that Xander just managed to do for 2.5 seconds before he forgot what he was supposed to be smug about because there's the whole skin and warm and sweat and oh hi there every time they move just right and what was the question again? Why yes, yes it was.

Well, the smugness is well-deserved, because Bridge is *this* close, and- no, make that not close, but *there* and it's the Best Thing Ever.

And Xander's falling forward, arms braced on either side of Bridge as he shuts his eyes and sees sparks even where he shouldn't because in the dark it doesn't matter which one isn't there anymore and he thrusts against Bridge once, twice, and and and and...yeah.

"Love you," Bridge gasps out, still breathing hard. "So much."

That might be more syllables than Xander can handle at the moment, though he's thinking it; he's regained just enough brain function for that. And he does manage to shift enough to drop beside Bridge onto the couch instead of squishing him.

Well, hey, perk of dating a psychic is that thinking it works just as well as saying it. Bridge moves sideways a little, enough so that the two of them can lay there comfortably, because not being squished is good.

Xander lets his head fall onto Bridge's shoulder and takes another moment to get his breath, before saying, "Do not ask me how I'm gonna prove I can be a floor wax."

"I guess if you got me really slippery..." He... should really stop trying to use that one remaining brain cell right now.

"I like my Xanders Xander-shaped, not... floor-wax-shaped, because I can't snuggle with a floor wax, not even a floor waxer would be very snuggly at all, I think." Bridge protests.

...Maybe he should stick to the one-syllable words. That seemed to work okay.
