While Fandom weirdness had been laying low for a while aside from certain timeline-related Moments Of Awkward, holiday and birthday-type activities had more than stepped up to fill in the space. So tonight's a rare night of relaxing in front of the tv, since most of Xander's non-party time this week has been spent up in the workshop, not being an elf. Exactly.

But certainly not burglarizing Christmas, unlike someone on his tv screen right now.

"But I *like* the bringing part!" Bridge protests. "And possibly there should be bringing of these into the den, because then there can be movie *and* presents."

"See me arguing? This is me arguing," Xander says as he leads the way into the den. "Also this is popcorn." He points to the table.

"Looks like a table to me," Bridge says, sticking his tongue out.

"There's popcorn on the table, Tiny Jewish Santa." Xander sticks his tongue out.

"Oh!" Bridge says, setting the packages down next to the popcorn before flopping down on the couch. "Hey! I don't sneak down your chimney and eat your food!"

"No, you sneak in the door and eat my food!"

"But you gave me a key!" Bridge flails. "And usually when I'm coming over it's because I've been *invited* to spend time with you and the food is really just part of that. So it's different."

"Also I don't have a chimney and I like Santa? But I don't want to do the horizontal macarena with him," Xander says, leaning over the pile of presents to tap Bridge on the nose.

"Good," Bridge says, nodding firmly. "Because I wouldn't want to share. But anyway! Presents. Starting here," he hands Xander a small box (http://www.uncommongoods.com/item/item.jsp?source=related&itemId=13547).

Xander grins and opens the box. Then stares at the cufflinks inside, finally pulling one out to play with the leveling-bubble. "....You know that thing I said about the macarena?"

"Well, yes," Bridge says, in a 'duh' tone of voice. "But after presents, I think, because otherwise they will sit here all alone and unopened and that would make them sad and you wouldn't want sad presents, right?" "Sad presents make Baby Je-- you know, bad example." Xander coughs and returns to the task of unwrapping.

Annnnd that'd be Bridge thwapping Xander on the shoulder and valiantly attempting to glare at him. Not that it's working.

"....computer-shaped waffles!" That would be Xander snickering and then sort of falling over on his side with the giggles.

"Because, you know, there's that whole 'I fell asleep at the keyboard and now I have waffle-face' thing. Only now the waffles are literal and you eat them, and, well, hopefully they wouldn't still end up all over your face."

"Depends on whether I'm five that weekend or not."

"You make a good point," Bridge admits. "But hopefully you're not planning on turning five any time soon." Because the weetiny thing is totally something you can plan for, right.

"Hopefully not, since I have dancing-related plans."

"Good," Bridge says. It's possible he went a little overboard on this gift-giving thing.

Xander stares at them for a bit after he opens them, a grin spreading across his face. Though it's preceded by a tiny, worried frown. "Should I be frightened that tools are turning me on?"

"It was maybe kind of part of the plan," Bridge admits with a sheepish grin.

"Well, it's not the tools, exactly." Yes it is. A little. "It's, y'know. The... youness." Ah yes. Xander Harris, Man of Worditude.

"I like things that have multiple uses!" Bridge says, defending his present choices. Not that they actually *needed* defending and all.
