MCA0, Saturday morning

There is a lump under the covers. It's vaguely Xander-shaped, but that is of course no guarantee that it actually is Xander, all tuckered out from...uh. Working. Yes. The day before yesterday. And the oh so exhausting reading of e-mail.

It might not be him. It could be pillows, or a pile of sleepy gremlins, or, hey, it could be a giant puppet-Xander made out of Xander's clothes with a lot of twinkies for filling and a stuffed frog for a head.

Or it could just be Xander with a stuffed frog on his head.

"I do. That would be my point." That would be Xander getting butter from the fridge, and putting bread in the toaster.

Bridge just crosses his arms and rolls his eyes at Xander. "*Not* that one. I didn't even make that one!"

"...Huh. I wonder who made that one?" He doesn't have one that says World's Best Bowler.

Bridge frowns. "I don't know, but they better not be thinking they're going to win you over with bowling plaques."

Xander puts incredibly buttery toast on the table, then totally cheats on the bacon and waffles. Yay food synthesizer.

"It'd take more than bowling plaques - what's gonna beat somebody who'd let me dye their hair green?"

"I can think of a few things," Bridge says with a grin. "But they'll have to wait until after the hair dyeing."

Xander snickers as he sets the rest of breakfast on the table. "Yeah, let's. Dye should not go in bad places."

"Truer words were never spoken," Bridge says solemnly, leaning over to steal a bite of Xander's waffle.

"Would now be a good time to tell you that one has bacon in it?" No, it doesn't.

"You wouldn't," Bridge says, fork paused halfway to his mouth.

"No, but I'd totally tell you that just to see the look on your face."

"You're going to drive me insane, eventually, you know." Bridge says fondly.

"Good; I need the company!"

"That's reassuring, at least," Bridge says with a smile.

"That we can be crazy together?" Xander steals a piece of Bridge's waffle. And half a slice of bacon.

"Uh huh," Bridge says. "I mean, if I had to be crazy with anyone, I'd choose you."

"Does it say something about my life so far that that's possibly the most romantic thing I've ever heard?"

And then there is kissing. Which is slightly syrup-flavored.

"You're very sweet," Bridge remarks with a smirk.

"And slightly bacon-flavored, but I won't tell your grandparents if you don't."

"It's a deal," Bridge says around a mouthful of waffle.

Eventually, once waffles and toast are consumed, fingers are wiggled and dishes have found their way to the dishwasher, Xander and Bridge find their way to the bathroom, where the dye and supplies are sitting out on the counter.

"Oh hey, gloves." Xander picks them up. They're not exactly the black leather driving gloves Bridge is sporting - more like clear vinyl. "So I don't turn my fingers green."
