MCA #0: Late Sunday Night

It's getting late but eventually, Xander and Bridge do make it back from the beach. Xander lets them into his apartment, putting a finger to his lips as he calls into the empty place, "Hey band-guys, if you're still here, now would be a good time to clear out..."

"And he's not in the bedroom," Bridge adds. "So it's not like he'll be an unwilling witness to anything he'd rather not see."

There's a somewhat more subdued ribbit that sounds as if someone is agreeing with Bridge and it's not just Xander.

Xander snorts and ducks into the den for a moment. When he returns, something that sounds suspiciously like Rikki, Don't Lose That Number is coming faintly from the stereo.

"Just in case."

"And now that that's taken care of..." and there might be tugging in a bedroom-ward direction.

There might be following. There also might be Xander grinning. "There might've been room for Steely Dan on the blanket. I'd have shared the Chinese food with them. I think."

"I'd only brought enough for two," Bridge says. "And they probably would've wanted your cupcake too," he adds.

"Hey, nobody gets my cupcake but you," Xander assures him. Followed by a snicker.

"Good to know," Bridge says, doing that nose-touchy-laugh-thing.

Xander kisses him on the nose. "I thought it was pertinent information."

"Very pertinent," Bridge agrees. "There's some things I have no interest in sharing. Your, ah, cupcake," his turn to snicker, now. "Is among them."

"You know, I have no idea what that's actually a euphemism for, and trying not to think about it is distracting me from the process of getting your clothes off. This is not a good thing."

"Do you need some distraction from what's distracting you?" Bridge laughs, and leans in to offer such a distraction in the form of kissing.

It's a very effective distraction. So effective that Xander manages to unfasten Bridge's jacket and get it off him, and have his shirt halfway up his back - or at least his hands halfway up the back of Bridge's shirt - before there's lack of kissing-distraction.

And though he pulled away with no resistance- the long-term benefits of lack-of-clothes outweighing the short-term benefits of making-out- the second his shirt is no longer an obstacle Bridge is back to the kissing thing.

They might even make it to the bed someday!

Especially if Xander cheats a hell of a lot by pushing them in that direction while simultaneously working on things like boots, buttons, zippers, and tongues.

Wait, one of those didn't belong.

The buttons.

Which still leaves gloves, but Bridge doesn't move to take them off himself. Instead he waits to see what Xander will do.

What Xander will do is fall back and pull him onto the bed, ungloved fingers laced between leather-covered ones, legs tangling together.

And then reach for the strap on the left one. With his teeth.

"Um," Bridge says, and that's really all he can manage. Because, unexpected and really kinda hot.

Not that Xander's been thinking about doing that - occasionally at inappropriate moments - since he saw Bridge do it himself, or anything.

When he's got both gloves undone, he tugs them off - with his hands, because there's hot and then there's ruining perfectly good leather - and then, well, there's fingers.

Which his mouth isn't going to ruin. Neither is his tongue.

Bridge's reaction? Various happy little noises that make "um" look like a coherent phrase in comparison.

Which eventually encourages Xander to move on from kissing and licking fingers, to wrist, to arm, to hey whaddya know, that leads to a shoulder.

And that'd be Bridge wriggling slightly in order to give Xander better access to places that have sadly *noT* been kissed yet. Because that needs to be remedied.

Like a collarbone, or the hollow of a throat. Or that spot right there, just behind Bridge's jaw.

Despite many attempts, Bridge *still* isn't quite managing a response involving actual words yet. Though the wordless responses hopefully are indicative of how happy he is with the current situation.

Funny thing about spots behind jaws? They lead back to lips. Eventually.

Which really makes the speaking thing harder, doesn't it? Eventually, though, Bridge does manage to pull away long enough to string a few words together.

"Could do this all night, kissing you," he murmurs, before going back to the kissing thing.
