MCA #0: Late Sunday Night

It's getting late but eventually, Xander and Bridge do make it back from the beach. Xander lets them into his apartment, putting a finger to his lips as he calls into the empty place, "Hey band-guys, if you're still here, now would be a good time to clear out..."

Which still leaves gloves, but Bridge doesn't move to take them off himself. Instead he waits to see what Xander will do.

What Xander will do is fall back and pull him onto the bed, ungloved fingers laced between leather-covered ones, legs tangling together.

And then reach for the strap on the left one. With his teeth.

"Um," Bridge says, and that's really all he can manage. Because, unexpected and really kinda hot.

Not that Xander's been thinking about doing that - occasionally at inappropriate moments - since he saw Bridge do it himself, or anything.

When he's got both gloves undone, he tugs them off - with his hands, because there's hot and then there's ruining perfectly good leather - and then, well, there's fingers.

Which his mouth isn't going to ruin. Neither is his tongue.

Bridge's reaction? Various happy little noises that make "um" look like a coherent phrase in comparison.

Which eventually encourages Xander to move on from kissing and licking fingers, to wrist, to arm, to hey whaddya know, that leads to a shoulder.

And that'd be Bridge wriggling slightly in order to give Xander better access to places that have sadly *noT* been kissed yet. Because that needs to be remedied.

Like a collarbone, or the hollow of a throat. Or that spot right there, just behind Bridge's jaw.

Despite many attempts, Bridge *still* isn't quite managing a response involving actual words yet. Though the wordless responses hopefully are indicative of how happy he is with the current situation.

Funny thing about spots behind jaws? They lead back to lips. Eventually.

Which really makes the speaking thing harder, doesn't it? Eventually, though, Bridge does manage to pull away long enough to string a few words together.

"Could do this all night, kissing you," he murmurs, before going back to the kissing thing.

Xander rolls and shifts so that Bridge is lying atop him, not that the kissing thing ever really stops during that maneuver.

"Could," Xander agrees. "Or..." Not that the kissing thing doesn't pick up again after those brief monosyllabic pauses.

"Could do that too," Bridge agrees. "Whatever you want," he adds with a grin.

Xander grins back, but his voice is low and rough when he answers, "I want you."

"As you wish," is Bridge's reply.

Actually, Xander knows better than to wish. It's a Sunnydale thing.

That's okay, though, because he's got everything he wants right here. Pressing him down against the mattress, reminding him this is really real. He's really here, after all this time.

And that particular thought makes Bridge pause.

"You don't always believe it is?" he asks softly.

Xander blinks, before he remembers that psychic hands are good for more than just knowing what to touch and when. "I was gone a long time," he says slowly. "Sometimes... yeah. I have to make sure it's not just a really good dream. I used to have those, sometimes." He closes his eye for a second, not quite able to stare Bridge in the face when he adds, "Or, uh. Sometimes I wasn't actually, um. Asleep."

"Times like this I wish I *could* figure out how to make my powers work both ways," and considering how twitchy he was about that idea after recent events, that's saying a lot. "Then you'd know. Always." And it's then that that last statement sinks in. "Really?" he asks.

Xander doesn't open his eye as he takes in the first part of what Bridge said; he just smiles, because he does know, when he's with Bridge. There's no mistaking that for anything else.

Then he opens his eye a crack and peers up. "Really what? Oh... really did I think about you when I was in bed doing, uh, not-asleep things?"

"More like, really what *did* you think about me when you were, uh..." and it's amazing he manages to get that much out without spontaneously combusting, here.

"Kind of depends which time." Xander grins. "Sometimes there were handcuffs involved..."

"Yeah?" Bridge grins back, mentally noting to be sure to remember the handcuffs next time he's over. "Tell me about one of those times," he says.

Bridge telling him what to do... would also be something Xander missed. He's not especially good at hiding that fact at the moment, and wouldn't be even if there weren't psychic powers involved.

Which brings heat to his face that hasn't showed up there in years, or maybe that's from the pictures in his head as he tries to come up with words to go with them.

"I do have my own, y'know." He's not reading Bridge's mind; it's just part of the story. "The kind you can get out of by yourself without being Houdini. So sometimes, I'd pretend they were yours."

"Keep going." And Bridge can't quite explain *why* he's as fascinated by this as he is. He lets one hand slowly wander across Xander's skin as he listens- well, listens and *watches*, kinda.
