MCA0: Sunday night

You know what you should probably take away from an almost-six year old person who, after a very busy day (and a very busy week) has already had dinner and dessert?

A phone that makes Twinkies.

For several reasons, all of them obvious.

For once, Parker is not being woken up in London in the middle of the night.

She's being woken up in New York City... in the middle of the night.

"Mmmmph. Parker. Wha?"

The phone was ringing. Since there were no grown-ups in the house that he'd seen and Jack was smaller than him, it meant he was the big kid in the house and it was his job to answer the phone.

Also, it was in his room anyway.

"'Allo?"

Isabel had a few wedding details she wanted to go over with Xander, so she pulled out her clipboard and dialed the phone.

You'd think there were better things to do during the evening than lie around on the couch and flip channels, but all the local baseball action had been day games.

Anders was half dozing on the couch, the phone near his head. Nobody had called him back about a job yet, and he didn't figure anyone would on a Sunday evening, but just in case, right?
