"I swear," Anders grinned, "you guys are so cute. It's awesome. Don't change that or I'll have to get frowny and I've absorbed some of Bridge's frowny-face skills."

Xander looked slightly nervous as his tattoo artist -- his non-Ray tattoo artist -- slipped on gloves and started picking out paint bottles. "But not so cute it's disgusting, right? You'd tell me if it was disgusting."

"Nope," Anders replied, not looking sideways at Xander on account of his shoulder being prepped. "Can safely say I've never even had the remotest urge to hurl."

"See, true friends will tell you this stuff." True friends will also not laugh when you drop your pants and point to the dark green ink.

Which would be why Anders wasn't laughing, no. Okay, so part of it had to do with sharp pointy things coming very very close to his shoulder AAAAAAAAAAH, but there was no laughing. Maybe a slight grin, though.

"You what?" Xander, alarmed, craned his neck but that was kind of useless what with the BEING BLIND IN THAT EYE DUMBASS.

They didn't hear Ray not-laughing.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand that would be Anders with his eyes shut tight and his face turning redder than that one bottle of ink over on the shelf with the effort of not-laughing.
