MCA0: Sunday Night

No matter how busy a day certain people might have had today (or yesterday, for that matter), at some point after the ice cream, there comes the bedtime. No, really.

After they'd watched her sleep for long enough to be sure she really was asleep, Xander turns out the light, leaving the door to the hallway open as a night-light, and beckons Bridge out into the living room.

He points back towards the guest bedroom. "Okay so um?"

"I don't... I don't even know what to think," Bridge admits, running a hand through his hair nervously. "If going through the portal and coming right back out *did* something, or..." the thought of the portal messing with Bronwyn frankly makes him feel sick to his stomach. Still, he can't quite manage to suppress a yawn of his own as he trails off.

Xander scrubs a hand through his own hair, heading for his bedroom, but shooting another glance over his shoulder at the guest room. "She's ours, though, right? She feels like..." She feels like theirs, but he's not the one who sees sparkles. Not when he's not wearing souped-up Ray-Bans, anyway.

"Yours and mine, yeah," Bridge finishes. "She *is*, she's just..." a yawn escapes him then, and he hadn't exactly been lying earlier when he'd told Bronwyn he was 'very sleepy'. "I think maybe we should have this talk when we're a bit more... clear headed?"

[zomg sorry i fell asleeps i suck. uh, we could do new post but i've gotta work all morning so, uh. i dunno!]

"Yeah." Xander nods, though it isn't going to stop him from worrying. For all the years he was gone, he'd tried so hard to make sure things he'd found out about the future didn't happen -- how do you guarantee that something will? "Let's get some sleep."

She'd still be there in the morning, right? That's the important part; they can figure the rest of it out later.
