The Graveyard, and then parts elsewhere, Saturday Night

This wasn't exactly what Xander had had in mind for the six-month anniversary of... there being anything to have an anniversary of, but given various conversations yesterday, it doesn't seem like something to be put off.

"Sorry, not quite the date I had planned," he says, leaning against a rather tall headstone.

"We could do a little more patrolly type stuff and then I could go reassure you on that issue..."

"Sounds good to me," Bridge agrees. "...As long as we're doing that second part back at your place."

"What, you have a problem with the sidewalk in front of the Trooper Station?"

"Um, kinda?" Bridge squeaks.

Xander just grins.

Bridge stares at him wide-eyed for a few more seconds before he turns bright red with embarrassment. "Mean!" he sputters accusingly.

"I love you so much." Which is totally a sequitur.

"Love you too," Bridge grins. "...And I don't really think you're mean," he adds.

"Good to know." Both, though he hadn't been in doubt of either.
