1. Parker got mugged. And sent me Pepper Vodka. You should e-mail her and ask who you can turn into a toad. Even if you don't do that toad-turny thing anymore, just the threat would make her feel better, I think.

2. Yeah, still helping with re-constructing the school. Also got to put my hand in with some repair work on the Principal's house.

3. Mel may actually like Twinkies more than I do. Plz to check if this is sign of apocalypse, y/n? While you're checking, got anywhere yet on whether we can get her home?

4. Bridge wants me to meet his parents. Help.

5. .............Now would be a good time to mention we're dating again, wouldn't it.



Well, ok, Xander is staring at the screen with his finger poised over the delete key. But that's sort of like typing, right?

"You know what I haven't done lately?" Bridge says thoughtfully.

Xander is fairly sure that's not a non-sequitur, because it's Bridge, so he goes with it. Sort of. "Flown a kite?"

"No! Well. Yes. But that's not what I meant," and Bridge is fairly sure that Xander knew that.

Xander knew that, yes. "What haven't you done lately?"

"Said how much I love you."

"Pretty sure you have." Xander grins. "Unless you're using a really stingy definition of 'lately.' Like 'in the last five minutes.' "

"Well, I haven't seen you since Wednesday," Bridge points out. "So it's been at least since then, you know."

"Well, okay, point. But it's not like I forgot, in two days." Or, y'know, six years.

"I know," Bridge says. "I like saying it, though."

[needsaparrot]

"Well, if it floats your boat...." Xander hasn't actually let go of Bridge's hand; now he runs a thumb along the palm. "I guess I could stand to hear it a couple bazillion more times or so."

"I love you," Bridge says with a grin. "And as for the rest of those couple bazillion times, I'm gonna spread them out a little, because otherwise we'll be sitting here for a very, very long time."

"Dunno that I necessarily mind that idea," Xander says. "...Though eventually there'd have to be bathroom breaks."

"And food," Bridge points out with a laugh, because he's a guy and thus that detail is important.

"I love you too." After a second, Xander adds, ".....even before you said the thing about the food, in case that wasn't clear."

"That is good to know," Bridge says, seriously.

"Wouldn't want you to think I liked, say, Twinkies, more than you. I mean it's a hard choice, but..."

"Twinkies aren't very good at this, though," Bridge says, and leans in to kiss Xander.

Xander kisses back with much more fervor than a Twinkie would. "Well, no," he agrees after a bit. "They tend not to put much energy into it."
