Possibly the turbo-snuggle thing currently going on has something to do with Xander having a few issues with saying goodbye to people. Or possibly he's just being a blanket-hog and Bridge happens to be inextricably tangled in said blanket. Some from column A, some from column B...

"Veeeery fascinating," comes Bridge's muffled voice from under the covers. "Very."

"I'm just sayin' somebody took some cash from somebody, and some other somebodies returned said cash...I hear...."

"Rumour has it that somebody else might still have their half of what was taken on a shelf in their room somewhere..." Still not coming out from under those covers.

Xander pokes the covers. "Rumor has it that somebody might not give a damn and might just be yanking your chain..."

"Somebody else might be kinda embarrassed about the whole thing, and how they never gave the money back even though it's been months," Bridge- er, somebody- admits.

Xander pokes his head under the covers. "Somebody can keep the money forever if somebody wants, and we could forget we ever had this conversation because somebody is clearly an insensitive moron?" he suggests. "And/or somebody could buy me dinner with it."

"Hi, somebody is not an 'insensitive moron', but somebody else might be acting a little childish by hiding under the covers, and what are you doing Sunday?"

"Going to dinner with somebody," Xander answers, hitting him over the head with a pillow. As you do.

"Wh-" Bridge starts to ask. "Oh. You mean me," he realises as the pillow connects.

"Unless you have other plans."

"Well," Bridge says. "Considering the date? Technically, yes. But dinner is a *part* of those plans."

Xander does some calculations without, for once, being dumb enough to say date? out loud. "Eeeeenteresting. I assume the dinner comes first."

Bridge watches Xander run those mental calculations with an amused smile, and then nods. "I considered the other way around, but then realised if we did it that way there's the possibility that we might not actually *get* to the dinner part of the plan."

"I like the way you think. Not that I figure I'd be complaining if it went that way..."
