Xander rolled out of bed this morning completely unaware of any weirdness of the day, though it being Fandom he was sure there was some, somewhere. He wasn't really trying to guess what, though; instead he was pondering (by way of hands-on experimentation) one of life's eternal questions: is it really evil to cheat at pancakes? Does making the batter yourself make them taste better?

"*Old* TV," Bridge says seriously. Never mind that his weetiny self isn't that much older than his *actual* self would be, in this time, so it's really the same television shows he watched growing up.

"Ooh, I haven't seen that yet," she bounced on her toes, "Can we?"

Neither have I! Xander nodded. "Sure. There's popcorn...and Twinkies...and doughnuts... on the coffee table, too."

Look, when he actually has a kid, he will not do this. But for something he's pretty sure will only last a weekend?

"Also cranberry juice. So it's balanced."

"Can we have choc'late milk too?" Bridge asks. "And can I sit next to you onna couch?"

"I think we could have chocolate milk, yeps," Xander informs him. And goes to get some.

When he returns, he puts three glasses on the coffee table and sits down in the middle of the couch. Because he did not in fact just fall off the turnip truck.
