Having finally sent Bridge home this morning because hey changes of clothes are nice, Xander was heading out into town in quest of coffee that didn't come from a --- okay, coffee that didn't come from his machine.

Nick was still lurking. He'd found a newspaper dated April 15, 2007, and was trying very hard to not freak out. But still! Fandom Island, the paper had said. His Mom went there like a million years ago-- okay, so, maybe, like, in 2005. But what the heck was he doing here?
