"Xander Harris? Dude, how old are you?"

"Almost six!" Sort of. Man, if he can't do the math on how many times his age has been screwed up by time-travel when he's a grownup, he sure as hedoubleheckysticks can't do it now.

Logan grinned. "So is this Fandom weirdness or is it some kind of psychosomatic response to your impending nuptials?"

"My psycho what? Whassa nupthingy?"

"Are you scared of getting married?"

"Nuh-uh! Marrieds means I get to stay with Bridge forevern'ever."

"That's a really long time," Logan said. "Maybe you should try a shorter marriage. Two years?"

"Nooooooooooo!" The stamping of a small foot on a carpeted floor probably didn't carry over the cellphone, but the voice would. "It's for always."

"Could do six years," Logan offered. "You'd be twice as old as you are now and then you could pick anyone else in the world."

"But I don't want anybody else."

[fh_jackass]

"No? Well," Logan pretended to think. "I don't think we can get you guys married forever and ever, but I know people. Think I can probably pull some strings and makes sure you get forever."

"Reeeeeally?"

[fh_jackass]

"Only if you're one hundred percent sure that you want to be with Bridge forever," Logan said.

"Is a hundred more than a billionty?"

[fh_jackass]

"Slightly less, actually," Logan said.

"I'm a billionty cents sure!"

[fh_jackass]

"All right, then," Logan said solemnly. "I'll have my people arrange everything."
