MCA0: Saturday Night

So after this morning, Xander had a pretty good idea what he'd end up doing with the rest of his day. And definitely wouldn't be doing with his evening. Well, actually, there are any number of things he won't be doing, like ingesting things with umbrellas, drunk-dialing Parker, reading the news, opening the office, or renovating a brothel, but if you narrow the category to Stuff One Does In One's Apartment With One's Boyfriend then it gets a little more obvious.

But hey, there are other Things One Can Do. Or, more accurately, Things Two Can Do. Like have a nice nutritious dinner.

Spaghettios are nutritious, right?

Xander opens the vial and shakes out a handful, then raises his hand above his head... and lets go so that they both get sprinkled with orange glitter.

"Okay, okay, now green!" Bridge says, bouncing a little in Xander's arms.

He stoppers up the orange vial and reaches for the green. "Hmm. Just me or do you need more green too?"

"Hmmm," Bridge echoes Xander. "I thinks I need more green too!"

"Okay, here goes, bombs away!" Well, glitterbombs.

"Now you're all properly sparkly," Bridge says happily. "And now we can have dinners!"

Xander swings them around to set the glitter vials on the table, then goes back for spaghettios. And bowls. "I have the feeling it's gonna be sparkly dinners."

"That's okay," Bridge says. "I like sparkly." Because that wasn't obvious enough already.

"I'd never have known if you hadn't told me," Xander says, reaching for spoons. Because it's hard to eat spaghettios with forks.

"But you're smart!" Bridge says. "You'da figured it out 'ventually."

Xander brushes orange glitter off Bridge's nose. "Well, maybe."

"*I* thinks so," Bridge says confidently, wriggling a little in a "put me down now plz" kind of way, food finally winning out over being carried around by Xander.

Xander plops him down in a chair. "Milk this time, ya think maybe?"

"I had lotsa milk with the cookies," Bridge points out.

"Juice that actually comes from a fruit?"

"I likes apple juice," Bridge agrees with a nod.

"I think I can find an apple juice button," Xander says, heading for the replicator. Possibly a cupcake button too, but shh. Not before dinner.

"Thank you I love you!" Bridge says, around a mouthful of spaghettios.

Remember this moment the next time he leaves you another 'Off to fight space cannibals see ya later' voicemail, Xander says to himself as he grabs two glasses of juice and brings them back to the table. "You're welcome. I love you too."

Bridge takes a sip- okay, more of a gulp, really, of the juice- and then looks over at Xander.

"I gotsa question though," he says hesitantly.

"What?"

"Willow said I gotta watch out cause you steals Barbies, but I don't have any Barbies, but I gots Dekarangers, would you steal those?" he asks, looking like he doesn't quite believe Xander would ever do anything like that.

"I don't steal Barbies," Xander says, shaking his head. Then he coughs. "Anymore."

"But Dekarangers?" Bridge now *does* look a little worried. "Jen was gonna steal my cookies today, but I just shared them instead. I could share my Dekarangers with you then you wouldn't haveta steal them!"

"I wouldn't steal your Dekarangers," Xander tells him. "But sharing would be cool."
