"Okay, so, three there; four to Veronica's dimension; three back. Ten tickets. And I'm just presenting Angel with a fait accompli-- if he had a better idea, he should have done it by now."
"Cal didn't exactly sound like he's likely to be fighting us off for her." Xander sighed. "Then again Cal didn't sound like she knew what day it was, so who knows what all's really been going down."
"He isn't, he's got other problems. Wings just feels like he owes her at this point, I think. And if Bel comes back, I want her out of the line of fire, she's in no shape to help, only get hurt." Parker shook her head. "It's time to cut ties before something drastic happens. If she'll come back here, great, but if she won't, Veronica's is a good second choice. Or as good as we've got."
"Works. Thanks for being the nominal adult, Xander." Parker grinned a little. "Well. More than in name only, but you know what I mean. I'll see you soon."
