MCA0: Saturday Night

While Fandom weirdness had been laying low for a while aside from certain timeline-related Moments Of Awkward, holiday and birthday-type activities had more than stepped up to fill in the space. So tonight's a rare night of relaxing in front of the tv, since most of Xander's non-party time this week has been spent up in the workshop, not being an elf. Exactly.

But certainly not burglarizing Christmas, unlike someone on his tv screen right now.

"Probably," Xander agrees, with a grin. "This is a minus? I like laughing. You may've noticed."

"Yeah, but I mean you'll laugh at *me*," Bridge sticks his tongue out.

"I will do my absolute bestiest best not to," Xander promises, trying to wipe the grin off his face.

"I was thinking, it'd be handy if it also made popcorn. For, you know, when it's late and you need a snack..."

That would be his lips twitching, yes. Though, "What if it had a mini-fridge in it too? For ice cream?"

"I didn't think of that!" Bridge grins excitedly. He might be revising blueprints in his head now, yes.

"And like, a little broiler drawer for keeping your socks warm."

"That wouldn't be too much?"

"Well it wouldn't actually broil them. Just be, y'know. Slightly toasty. Oh hey - a toaster!"

Bridge just looks at Xander. "So, uh. You remember that thing you said?"

"Which thing? About the fridge? Because you could do dacquiris in there too, actu--"

"About being worried that tools were turning you on."

"...Yeah?" Xander coughs. 'Cause...yeah, he got distracted, but not that distracted.

"Well. Um. I'm pretty much... right there with you, now."

Xander grins. "You know, if they make power-tool themed sex toys, we're so in trouble."

There's a long pause following Xander's statement.

And then there's Bridge, standing up from the couch and pulling Xander with him. "Bedroom. Now."

Xander lets himself be dragged, but glances towards his laptop, open on the coffee table next to the popcorn. And many many presents. "Okay, fine, I'll google tomorrow."
