Nobody much cares where you sit, since it's not like there's a bride's side, or like Xander and Bridge don't share all the same friends, but the green fabric deck chairs are separated by a white runner anyway.

Lit on either side by softly-muted glow-balls, it leads down to a chupah that's -- contain your shock -- just as green.

Parker ducked her head into the Cabana, grinning. "Hmmmmm. I don't see any objectors to beat up here. Had any problems?"

"Only with not choking myself." Xander pointed to the tie. Which was, you know. Tied. Perfectly. He actually knew how to tie a bow-tie. The choking would come, if it did, from the need to fidget with it.

Parker reached up to pat it anyway, bridesmaid's prerogative. "I have a teeny bottle of vodka in my purse, a bottle of Valium, and one of extra-strength Tylenol. I'm armed, heeled, and so my co-bridesmaids are even more dangerous. We're set if you are."

Mel came in tripping over her hem. AGAIN.

"Mother-rutting outfit. This skirt is going to be the death of me Harris. You better appreciate my life threatening situation here."

Xander tried really hard to hide his snicker. Really. Okay, not really. "You picked it out," he pointed out.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. This is what I get for sending measurements from another century instead of showing up for a fitting," Mel grumbled but shook it off. "I did a handwavy quick patrol of the grounds. Nothing dangerous that I could see. However I have stakes hidden just in case something shows up."

She grinned. "Nobody ruts with my watcher's wedding day."

"Well I'll have to sacrifice the skirt if something shows up," Mel said with a shrug. "But I think that's better than having family members getting chomped on. Besides the hem's going to be toast before I make it down the aisle."

"Probably plenty of people in the audience who wouldn't consider the skirt a sacrifice," Xander said. Sokka being first but probably not last on that list.
